R4's experienced team of engineers and designers create complex 3D models which are fluid and likely to undergo numerous changes, never loosing focus on the customers' mission and operational environment. Our models are perfected until they can be analyzed extensively for stress/structural and aerodynamic loads. 

Our engineers and technicians travel to any location, including overseas, to 3D laser scan specific features, even entire aircraft as a basis for conceptual designs as well as reverse-engineering processes.  

We produce 3D models of aircraft outer mold lines (OML) from 3D laser scans and other metrology techniques to verify tolerances. This includes the development of smoothed aerodynamic lofts from noisy 3D laser scanned data.  

R4 owns various types/sizes of 3D printers and uses the latest 3D printing technology to test fit, form, and function of prototypes prior to actual fabrication. The valuable tool promotes creativity, reduces production time and ultimately cost. 

Our experienced systems engineers focus on design integration, functionality, and management of R4 solutions over their life cycles.

R4's electrical engineers design system schematics and cable drawings that interface the applicable hardware with the aircraft and enables user interaction with the system. They ensure that there is adequate and sufficient power available to the installed systems as well as protect the aircraft from a failed piece of equipment. 

R4 uses a full spectrum analysis approach that includes aircraft pressurization, aerodynamic, thermal and inertia loads, both individually and in logical combinations, to establish airworthiness. 

R4 uses in-house cutting-edge software to determine directionality of radiation patterns and communication/frequency management. It helps identify potential interference emitters/receivers and can be easily corrected during the conceptual design phase.

We support your AS9110 requirements using our network of DERs: Control Systems, Avionics, Damage Tolerance and Fatigue, Flight Analyst, Flutter, Icing, Loads, Noise, Powerplant and Stress.

R4 has developed FAA approved methods to assess the potential for impact to baseline aircraft type compliance.

R4 creates new Technical Orders (TOs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), flight manuals, checklists, maintenance manuals, work cards, inspection manuals, job guides, fault isolation, commercial manuals and reports. 

We develop, digitize and sustain technical data in various electronic formats, including Extensible Markup Language (XML), Portable Document Format (PDF), Indexed PDF (IPDF), FrameMaker (FM), Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML), and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
