Multi-Purpose Centerline System (MPCS)

In an effort to modernize the iconic long-range bomber, R4 was able to mount a custom MPCS (RO/RO) on top of the aircraft and provide dependable, state-of-the-art Ku/Ka band SATCOM. In addition, R4 engineered a large equipment rack on the inside of the subsonic jet. All systems are easily adapted for future requirements.

B-52 EQUIPMENT RACK

The custom R4 equipment rack is hoisted by crane through the open door on top of the aircraft and lowered into the cleared gunner seat area (gunner seat and ejection seat rails removed). The rack features a simple cantilevered ladder-style design and attaches securely to four pre-existing ejection seat rail mounts.
