The two aft-passenger seats were removed to accommodate installation of a WESCAM MX-10 turret and ruggedized proliferated Low Earth Orbit (p-LEO) Ku/Ka band antenna. A special R4 developed mechanism deploys the turret and is then secured to the side of an R4 modified replacement baggage compartment door. It retracts and stows the turret inside when not in use. From concept to successful flight tests, R4 was able to deliver in record time. System installation is completely reversible with our convenient Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) set-up.
