R4 engineers are currently developing a dual sided hardpoint interface for MAU style flexible mounting pods, specifically on C-130H/J aircraft. The added structure will provide 1000lb weight capacity per side with minimal modification to the aircraft and offer Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) convenience after the initial EHPM installation.
Using standardized support frames, the new solution will provide additional flexibility attaching an evolving list of airborne systems, anything from electro-optical/infra-red (EO/IR) imaging systems to electronic countermeasure pods, such as AGILEPOD (TM).
